CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) is the credit-weighted average of your grade points across every course. For each course, multiply its grade point by its credit units, add those up across all semesters, then divide by the total credit units. Courses with more credit units count more toward your CGPA.
GPA (Grade Point Average) measures your performance for a single semester, while CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) is the running average across all the semesters you have completed so far. Your CGPA is the figure used for your final degree classification.
