These are the rules for using cgpa.store. They are short and written to be read: what you can expect from the service, what we expect from you, and what the CGPA figures do and do not mean.
By creating an account or using cgpa.store, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
The service is operated by KingShowPlays.
The service is intended for university and college students. By using it you confirm you are at least 13 years old, and that if you are under 18 you have your parent or guardian's permission. We do not verify age, so this is your representation to us.
Use an email address you actually control, because it is how you recover access. Keep your password to yourself, and pick one you have not reused elsewhere. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you, so tell us straight away if you think someone else has got in.
One person, one account. Do not create accounts for other people or pretend to be someone you are not.
This is the most important term on the page. Every CGPA, GPA, projection and degree classification the site produces is an estimate calculated from figures you typed in, using the grading scale you selected. It is a study aid, not an official transcript.
Your institution's registry is the only authoritative source for your results. Do not rely on anything here for a scholarship application, a graduation requirement, a job application or any other decision that matters, without checking it against your official record first. We are not responsible for outcomes that follow from relying on a figure produced here.
The courses, scores, timetables, deadlines and notes you enter remain yours. You give us only the permission needed to run the service: to store that content, show it back to you, and display the parts your privacy setting makes visible to other people.
You are responsible for what you enter. Do not put anything in a free-text field, such as a deadline note or a class venue, that you would not want stored, and remember that a Public profile shows your timetable to anyone who visits it.
New accounts are listed on the leaderboard by rank, with the CGPA number itself withheld from everyone but you. You can change this at any time in your profile, including hiding yourself completely.
Do not put anything in your display name that is abusive, misleading or impersonates another person. We may reset a name, remove a listing or suspend an account that does.
Rankings are a bit of fun between coursemates. Manipulating them by entering scores that are not yours defeats the point and may get the account removed.

A shared timetable link is a public address. Anyone who has it can open the snapshot without an account, so treat the link itself as the access control and only share it with people you mean to.
The service is free and provided as is. We do not promise it will always be available, error free, or that data will never be lost. Features may change or be withdrawn. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. The site can export your results, which is a good habit at the end of each semester.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data, or for any academic, financial or professional consequence of using the service. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You can stop using the service at any time, and can ask us to delete your account by emailing info@kingsworks.space. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, or that is being used in a way that harms other students or the service.
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and material changes will be flagged in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes are subject to the Nigerian courts. If you are using the service from somewhere else, any protections your local law gives you that cannot be waived still apply.
